Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality home health care to our clients, ensuring their emotional, spiritual, physical comfort, and safety are met to the greatest possible extent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client care by utilizing the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching.
  • Establish, monitor, and deliver nursing care to clients in a community setting as per the nursing care plan and in accordance with all required internal and external professional practice standards.
  • Provide support and direction to unlicensed/unregistered employees involved in direct client care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current registration with the provincial licensing body.
  • Previous experience in the acute care sector or long-term care.
  • Demonstrated clinical competencies, positive interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, critical thinking and analytical skills, decision-making skills, and ability to prioritize.
