We are seeking a reliable and skilled Substitute Educational Assistant to join our team at St. Jerome's School in Vermilion, Alberta.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will assume the responsibilities of the educational assistant in their absence, working under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and respect student and school personal information.
Key Responsibilities:- Assume the responsibilities of the educational assistant in their absence, under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Communicate, collaborate, and cooperate with the classroom teacher, colleagues, and students.
- Maintain and respect confidentiality of students and school personal information.
- Comply with and support Division and school policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the classroom teacher and principal.
- Recent and clean Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Recent and clean Child and Welfare Intervention Check.
- Valid Social Insurance Number in the current legal name.
