Job Overview

As an Administrative Assistant at Manitoulin Transport, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our logistics team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating driver dispatch based on client requirements to prevent shortages.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Managing daily processing of transactions, including sales, payments, purchases, and deposits.
  • Generating lubricant invoices as necessary.
  • Assisting clients with the collection of lubricant products.
  • Conducting daily inventory checks and resolving discrepancies.
  • Providing exceptional customer service through various communication channels.
  • Directing customers to the appropriate personnel for assistance.
  • Submitting weekly payroll hours every Monday.
  • Overseeing month-end procedures, including inventory reconciliation.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.
