We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Dean Wood Construction Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and finish of our concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and prepare concrete surfaces for finishing, checking for any defects or irregularities.
- Apply and finish concrete to achieve the desired texture and appearance, using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and stable structure.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect against the elements.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
As a Concrete Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights and in dusty conditions. You will be required to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related trade.
- Ability to work at heights and in dusty conditions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
