Overview

Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our global team. As a key member of our software support team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving the adoption of our innovative solutions.

The Role

As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to our customers, resolving complex software issues, and collaborating with our development team to identify and fix bugs. You will also be involved in developing and maintaining detailed technical documentation, training resources, and support materials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support to customers, resolving complex software issues and escalating to development teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix bugs, improve software functionality, and enhance user experience.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, training resources, and support materials to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Support the sales process by coordinating successful evaluations and demonstrations to increase the adoption of Hexagon A&P products and services.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role within the technology industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering or a related engineering or science discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong proficiency in delivering presentations.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.

  • Performs well under pressure, especially in customer-facing situations.
