About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at J.F.N. Ent Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that our inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain our high standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, coffee shop.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
