Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and that our costs are under control.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that we provide a high level of customer service and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information to inform our business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
