About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Advisor to join our team at Canadian International Secondary School Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • Have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Key Tasks
    • Attend educational conferences and workshops to stay updated on industry trends and best practices
    • Counsel students on educational, career, or vocational issues, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals
    • Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
    • Coordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents, and teachers, ensuring seamless communication and support
    • Refer students to other specialized services when required, ensuring they receive the support they need
    • Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and workshops to stay informed and contribute to the school community
    • Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and symposia, showcasing expertise and sharing knowledge with others
