Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Haida Gwaii Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our patients and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of client care in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to achieve patient-centered care.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
