Position Overview:
Our client, DMC Recruitment, is seeking a meticulous and highly organized individual to fulfill the role of Service Coordinator within the Building Materials sector. This pivotal position is essential for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services related to construction supplies and materials. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing service requests, scheduling appointments, and facilitating seamless communication between various teams involved in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Service Request Management:
    • Receive and accurately process service requests pertaining to building materials, ensuring all necessary information is captured.
    • Coordinate with field service personnel and relevant departments to schedule service appointments for deliveries or installations of building materials.
  2. Appointment Scheduling:
    • Maintain and regularly update the service calendar to ensure optimal resource allocation for building materials services and timely task completion.
    • Promptly communicate any changes in schedule to both internal teams and clients.
  3. Client Communication:
    • Act as the primary liaison for clients in the building materials sector regarding service inquiries and updates.
    • Provide clear and timely communication to clients about service appointments, expected timelines, and any schedule adjustments.
  4. Documentation and Record Maintenance:
    • Keep accurate and current records of service requests, appointments, and completed tasks related to building materials.
    • Generate performance reports as necessary to monitor service effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with field service technicians, sales teams, and other internal departments to ensure a smooth service delivery process.
    • Address client concerns promptly and work towards effective resolutions in the building materials industry.
  6. Quality Control:
    • Oversee service delivery to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
    • Collect client feedback to drive continuous improvement in service processes.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a coordination or administrative role, ideally within a service-oriented environment in the building materials field.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in coordinating field service operations within the building materials industry.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific service processes.
  • Customer service training or certification.
