About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Helper to join our team at BDS Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and other building materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Installation Assistance: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Surface Preparation: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Quality Control: Clean and maintain work spaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Finishing Touches: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical Demands: You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Relocation: You must be willing to relocate for this position.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
