Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cage Cashier to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, and cash counts.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities.
  • Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash.
  • Verify and process machine fills, machine jackpots, and table fills.
  • Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants and reconcile closing floats.
  • Transfer and store floats, keys, and record-keeping documents.
  • Document and reconcile transactions, including bank deposits and revenue reports.
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments and build strong working relationships with guests and employees.
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • People-focused and committed to service excellence.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed.
  • Secondary School Diploma; Post-secondary education an asset.
  • Smart Serve certification required or willing to obtain.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling.
