About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Onedersquad. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining machinery and equipment on construction sites. Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will ensure the smooth operation of all equipment, minimizing downtime and keeping the project on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Inspect and maintain all equipment to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal performance, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, determining the best course of action for repairs and collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless functioning of all equipment.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts, to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to carry out repairs and maintenance, demonstrating your ability to work with technical information.
- Provide technical support to project managers and other construction workers, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company and industry standards to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 23 years of experience as a Millwright in the construction industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Millwright license required, demonstrating your commitment to industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals, showcasing your technical expertise.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and complete tasks in various weather conditions, with a focus on safety and well-being.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow safety standards, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with trade school or apprenticeship program completion a plus, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and development.
