Job Summary:
Boart Longyear is a global leader in drilling services, providing innovative and reliable solutions to the mining and drilling industry. We are seeking a skilled Millwright Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Mississauga, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install CNC and robotic controlled industrial equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Evaluate, prepare, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Plan, organize, and perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Read and write maintenance reports, maintenance log entries, manuals, procedures, and related instructions.
- Identify and report hazards and fulfill all Health & Safety, WHMIS, MSDS, and company policy requirements.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process.
- Work a 12-hour shift rotation when required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Permanent work authorization for Canada.
- Valid Canadian Driver's License.
- Licensed Millwright, certified to work in Ontario as an Industrial Mechanical Millwright.
- Intermediate to advanced CNC and servo systems knowledge.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and systems.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, OEM manuals, and related technical data.
- Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a high-volume machining and manufacturing environment.
