Investment Structure Management Director

At Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, we are seeking a highly skilled Investment Structure Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our Investment Structure Management team, you will be responsible for the operational deal structuring and end-to-end management of the investment life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Deal Structuring: Lead the pre-close/structuring and ongoing maintenance of new investments, exits, and restructurings, including coordinating the establishment of new legal entities and addressing legal and governance requirements.
- Investment Structure Management: Provide ongoing support to maintain and manage CPP Investments structures post-closing, including overseeing and managing legal entity workstreams, managing ongoing operational activities, and contributing to materials related to legal entity compliance reporting.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team who will provide additional day-to-day support in delivering investment structuring and ongoing management of investment structures.
- Culture of Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation around how CPP Investments manages its investment structures.
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in finance, consulting, private equity, accounting firm, or project management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high levels of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and determine course of action in situations with little or no precedent.
- A continuous learning mindset with a desire to learn about CPP Investments business and recommend innovative solutions to business problems.
- Willingness to actively contribute to a positive, highly effective, and collaborative team culture.
