About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bakery Assistant at Dillon'z Sweet & Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our pastry team, you will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, operating machinery, and ensuring the quality of our products meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as needed to support the production of baked goods.
  • Decorating and Presentation: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet our high standards of presentation.
Work Environment

As a Bakery Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a team setting, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a bake shop environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
