About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at Dillon'z Sweet & Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our pastry team, you will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, ensuring high-quality products meet our established standards, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Operate machinery and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Setting: Bake shop environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
