We are a leading bakery and retail establishment seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bakery Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery and retail areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food safety protocols and regulations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain all equipment, machinery, and work areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals, and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Bakery and retail establishment.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), and basic security clearance.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
