We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Health Watch Medical Clinic Ltd.
About the RoleAs a Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans to address a wide range of health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other medical professionals to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations to identify diseases, injuries, and other health concerns.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' physical and mental health needs.
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures as necessary to inform treatment decisions.
- Consult with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Perform routine surgeries and assist in more complex procedures.
- Provide patients with education and support to promote healthy habits and wellness.
- Report births, deaths, and other health-related events to government authorities as required.
- Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate primary care services.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) or equivalent certification.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Criminal record check and eligibility for professional liability insurance.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in family medicine.
- Free parking available on site.

- Permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week.
- English language of work.
