About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Sunset Ridge Medical Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed, and provide patients with clear instructions and follow-up care.
  • Advise patients on healthy lifestyle choices and provide education on disease prevention and management.
  • Coordinate and manage primary patient care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, and connect them with community resources as needed.
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure by provincial or territorial authorities, and certification by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Experience in family medicine or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.
