We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visiting Physician/Medical Doctor to join our team at Park Place Seniors Living. As a Visiting Physician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical care to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Care Provision: Deliver high-quality medical services to our residents, including routine rounds, medication management, and documentation of medical care provided.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our Medical Director, Director of Care, and interprofessional staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in the delivery of medical care.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medical care provided, including electronic health records and paper charts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to medical staff privileges, licensure, and continuing care service standards.
- Licensure and Certification: Be licensed to practice medicine in the Province of Alberta and be in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
- Medical Staff Privileges: Have required AHS Medical Staff privileges granted by the Department of Family Medicine to practice in the Long-Term Care Centre.
- Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
