Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and coordinate referrals as needed.
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Provide patients with education and guidance on healthy habits, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the province or territory where the clinic is located.
  • Experience in family medicine or a related field is an asset.
