Structural Analysis Specialist

Bell Flight is seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for performing structural analyzes and preparing reports to support the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analyzes using industry-standard calculation methods and finite element analysis techniques.
- Support the design team by providing structural analysis and validation, ensuring that designs meet certification requirements.
- Apply design factors such as function, materials, performance, interchangeability, and weight in relation to stress resistance requirements.
- Prepare certification reports and stress memos.
- Experience in structural design is preferred.
- Good understanding of classical analysis methods and knowledge of design methods and analysis of composite materials.
- Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods in the aeronautical industry.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis methods and the NASTRAN/PATRAN environment.
- Knowledge of fatigue analysis and damage tolerance.
- Knowledge of CATIA V6 or CATIA V5 and Enovia LCA.
- Good communication skills in English and French.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
