Inside Sales Person Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Inside Sales Person to join our team at Barry-Hamel Equipment Ltd. in Victoria, BC. As an Inside Sales Person, you will play a key role in working with our customers on a day-to-day basis and be required to meet our high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and direct walk-in sales
  • Maintain inventory levels, warehousing, shipping, and receiving
  • Process orders, documents, and other office functions
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation on the point of sale machine
  • Drive a hot-shot delivery truck when required

Qualifications:

  • Superior organizational skills
  • Computer experience with Windows-based programs and Outlook email
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an inside sales capacity
  • Industrial sales experience is highly beneficial
  • Clear driving abstract (Class 5 BC license required)
