JOB OVERVIEW:

As a key member of the Indoor Operations team, you will oversee the Food and Beverage department, ensuring that our guests receive an unparalleled culinary experience. The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high service standards, managing costs effectively, and promoting sustainability initiatives while supporting cross-departmental collaboration for overall resort success.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead recruitment and scheduling efforts for front of house personnel.
  • Supervise food service operations and manage inventory of supplies.
  • Implement sustainable practices in daily operations and strategic planning.
  • Foster a positive work environment by mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure pricing aligns with profitability goals.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve any internal staff conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the department.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers regarding service timelines.
  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Facilitate positive interactions between Front of House and Back of House teams.
  • Support the Bar team in delivering exceptional service to all guests.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all lodge areas.
  • Monitor department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet organizational objectives.
  • Deliver a memorable guest experience through attentive service.
  • Review and update departmental manuals and employee handbooks to promote safety culture.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certificate in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business is an asset.
  • Food & Beverage Serving it Right certification.
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in the food & beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with Google Workplace is advantageous.
  • Strong team player with excellent time management skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
  • Must be of legal age to work in licensed areas.
  • Experience with computer systems and cash handling.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends and holidays as needed.
