Job Opportunity:
The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly qualified individual to teach a course on criminal law and statutory annotation. As a professor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an annotated Criminal Code, working with students to research and create annotations, and providing guidance on the interpretation of criminal offences and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an annotated Criminal Code
- Research and create annotations with students
- Provide guidance on the interpretation of criminal offences and procedures
- Work with students to ensure accuracy and relevance of annotations
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in criminal law and statutory annotation, as well as experience in teaching and mentoring students. An LL.B., JD, or equivalent is required, and membership in the Law Society of Ontario (or equivalent) in good standing is also necessary. Prior teaching experience is considered an asset.
