Description

The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Part-time Professor of Canadian Criminal Law.

This role requires a leader in the legal profession with significant experience in Canadian criminal law, particularly in the investigation, prosecution, and defense of hate-motivated crimes.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and a proven track record in teaching and research.

Responsibilities will include designing and delivering course material, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to delivering high-quality education to students.

Requirements

  • LL.B., J.D., or equivalent degree
  • Membership in the Law Society of Ontario (or equivalent) in good standing
  • Significant experience in Canadian criminal law, particularly in the investigation, prosecution, and defense of hate-motivated crimes
  • Prior teaching experience an asset
