Senior IT Field Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Senior IT Field Specialist at emergiTEL. This position involves overseeing and managing IT operations, network security, and communications systems across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for IT operations, network security, and communications systems across multiple locations.
  • Support technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems, networks, and policies in line with emergiTEL's standards.
  • Inspect and assess technological equipment and software for functionality and efficiency, including recommending upgrades, configurations, repairs, or new purchases as needed.
  • Manage and support all network-connected systems for multiple sites, including security and door control systems.
  • Respond to and resolve technical and non-technical issues promptly, adhering to emergiTEL's incident management processes and policies.
  • Deliver training on information technologies such as Office 365, mobile devices, and other technical equipment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing, implementing, and supporting IT systems in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software) and networks.
  • Ability to proactively identify potential risks and issues, respond with solutions, and engage others in implementing changes.
  • Current certification in Standard First Aid with CPR, and Non-violent Crisis Intervention training.
