Job Description

**Job Title:** Project Director

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team at Forge Performance Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from inception to delivery, driving efficiencies, and directing business optimization to improve overall organization performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee major construction projects, providing guidance and support to project and construction management teams.
  • Set project strategy and success metrics, ensuring the development and implementation of effective project plans.
  • Manage all aspects of a construction project, including problem-solving, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with clients, senior management, and project stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their representatives, and key partners to strengthen our industry leadership and credibility.
  • Drive innovation and propose technology improvements to industry state-of-the-art practices.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil/Structural), or graduate of an applicable technical diploma program, and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years in an oil & gas construction project management or project supervision role or large-scale construction experience.
  • 5-8 years working experience in a managerial role with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Availability to periodically travel to project sites.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the oil and gas pipeline & industrial construction industry and familiarity with relevant construction and safety codes, standards, and practices.
