Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
- Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
- Chef Management
- Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
- Monitor kitchen operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing way.
- Respond to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and control food costs to maintain profitability.
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a cook or in a related role.
- Skills
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. They will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
