About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Chef Management
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
    • Monitor kitchen operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing way.

  • Inventory Management
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.

Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a cook or in a related role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. They will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
