We are in search of a proactive Client Relationship Executive, tasked with enhancing our market footprint. This position focuses on nurturing connections with designated accounts while leveraging strategic prospects with prospective clients. Working in close collaboration with our dealer partners, you will be instrumental in formulating and implementing impactful strategies for opportunity, account, and market growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Within your designated accounts, you will act as the primary liaison for Steelcase, responsible for comprehending the client's business challenges and ambitions. You will foster relationships across various functions including real estate, facilities, procurement, IT, and HR to create sales opportunities. Building and sustaining a robust network of influencers within the architecture, design, and real estate sectors is essential, as is partnering with the local Steelcase team and dealers to develop and manage a comprehensive market business development strategy. This role offers the chance to cultivate business within accounts and across the broader market.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of and effectively communicate Steelcase's advantages: product features, services, research, and insights.
- Collaborate with colleagues and dealer partners regionally on business strategies, marketing initiatives, and special projects to elevate the Steelcase brand and business.
- Maintain business activities through Salesforce CRM.
- Exhibit a curious mindset to demonstrate comprehension of client challenges.
- Function as a team player while showcasing leadership and influencing capabilities.
- Possess a broad and comprehensive understanding of the furniture industry sales model, which is advantageous.

- High organizational and management skills necessary for coordinating large, complex projects with a multidisciplinary team.

- Comprehensive knowledge within a multidimensional industry and/or experience selling capital products or services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Interior Design/Architecture.
- Experience in a high-performing consultative sales or closely related role.
- Familiarity with distribution partners and/or a strong understanding of the contract furniture industry is advantageous.
