Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Intake Team to effectively manage high-risk investigations.
- Conduct joint inquiries and home assessments alongside law enforcement officials.
- Interview and evaluate involved individuals to develop safety and treatment strategies.
- Connect families with essential support services to enhance their well-being.
- Coordinate legal obligations and provide testimony during court proceedings.
- Prepare families for the transition of services and participate in transfer discussions.
- Engage with First Nation Communities to address intricate issues.
- Oversee high-risk cases with a focus on proactive intervention.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required.
- Offer supervisory support within the department when necessary.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work with a minimum of 5 years in Child Welfare.
- Forensic experience in a demanding environment.
- Familiarity with First Nations families and current legislative frameworks.
