Role Overview
IBI Group is looking for a Director of Rail & Transit Operations to lead our Rail & Transit team. This pivotal role will focus on driving growth and profitability within the Rail and Transit sector.
As the Director, your primary responsibilities will include:
Strategic Implementation:
Oversee the business unit with full accountability for financial performance and service quality; develop and execute strategies that ensure excellence in service delivery and sustainable growth. Inspire and guide a diverse team of specialists by recruiting top talent, setting clear objectives, and conducting performance reviews to foster a motivated and skilled workforce. Formulate and implement the business plan for the unit, ensuring that all team members understand their roles in achieving the set objectives through a supportive culture. Identify and target potential clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery to drive organic revenue growth.Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong relationships with clients to gain insights into their needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Mentor project and service managers to ensure project success and adherence to governance standards, ultimately enhancing client satisfaction. Identify and nurture talent within the unit, promoting career development through appropriate training and development programs. Manage resource allocation effectively to maintain the integrity of the team structure and optimize resource utilization. Proactively identify and manage risks associated with service delivery, ensuring compliance with governance processes to achieve service excellence. Stay informed about market trends and client needs to identify emerging opportunities for growth. Foster collaboration across IBI Group to maximize cross-selling opportunities and enhance service offerings.Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of 15 years of experience in leading and expanding a significant business function within a professional services environment. Proven ability to inspire and lead multi-disciplinary teams towards shared goals.Additional Information:
