We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Dynacare. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens with precision and attention to detail
  • Enter requisitions and results accurately and efficiently
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns with empathy and kindness
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary School diploma and completion of a Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with specialized training in phlebotomy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
