Job Title: Merchandising Category Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Category Planner to join our team at RONA Inc. in Boucherville, Quebec.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the deployment of merchandising strategies across all RONA banners. This includes building project plans, collecting and validating information, establishing milestones, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies for all RONA banners
  • Build project plans and schedules, including milestones and deadlines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve merchandising strategies and processes
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as business or marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, process development, or retail planning
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
