About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Experiential Learning Program Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, implementing, and evaluating experiential learning opportunities for students across various disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive portfolio of experiential learning programs, including internships, co-op placements, research projects, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to integrate experiential learning into existing curriculum and develop new courses that emphasize hands-on experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers, organizations, and community partners to secure valuable experiential learning opportunities for students.
  • Provide guidance and support to students throughout their experiential learning journey, from program selection to post-experience reflection.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of experiential learning programs, collecting data and generating reports to demonstrate student outcomes and impact.
  • Promote and advocate for experiential learning within the university community through workshops, presentations, and other outreach activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in program development and management, ideally within a higher education setting.
  • Strong understanding of experiential learning principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for student success and commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
