About the Job

Viking Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, removing litter and garbage, and performing various tasks to maintain our outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Remove litter and garbage from outdoor areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Apply fertilizers and other treatments to maintain the health and appearance of plants and trees.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other outdoor machinery.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of tasks completed and any issues encountered.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other outdoor machinery.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks and manual dexterity required.
  • Ability to work a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with a permanent schedule.
  • Fluency in English is required.
