Job Title: Child and Family Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Therapist to join our team. As a Child and Family Therapist, you will work with children, adolescents, and families to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions with children and families
  • Assess and diagnose mental health concerns using evidence-based assessment tools
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client
  • Provide education and support to families on mental health issues and coping strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions and progress
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, social work, counselling)
  • Registration with a relevant professional association (e.g. Canadian Psychological Association, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association)
  • Experience working with children and families in a mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple clients and tasks
