Lightspeed is on the lookout for a contract Associate Partner Growth Manager to become a vital part of our energetic Partner Growth Team in North America. This position reports directly to the Director of Partner Growth and plays a crucial role in cultivating and expanding lucrative partnerships with referral and reseller associates within a designated region. Your daily responsibilities will include inspiring, training, and collaborating with partners to generate new business opportunities for Lightspeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage proactively with current partners to attract new clientele to Lightspeed;
- Develop, oversee, and sustain a robust sales pipeline to meet the sales targets for your assigned territory;
- Provide regular pipeline reporting and forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis from channel partners;
- Conduct Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and Annual Business Reviews (ABR) with partners;
- Facilitate effective two-way communication between channel partners and Lightspeed;
- Lead personalized screen-sharing presentations as needed;
- Ensure that top-tier support is available, including access to training, marketing, and technical resources;
- Collaborate with Partner Development to identify and acquire Ideal Partner Profiles by sharing valuable feedback and market insights;
- Work closely with Sales Development and Account Executive teams to achieve industry and regional objectives.
Qualifications:
Our partnerships team is distinctive, blending commercial focus with a strong emphasis on product innovation.
- 3-5 years of experience in partnerships, B2B, or channel management (experience in software sales is preferred);
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record in generating sales forecasts;
- Comprehensive understanding of the partnership landscape while prioritizing customer and market needs;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong group presentation abilities;
- Capability to formulate comprehensive growth strategies for referral partner sellers;
- Significant involvement in partnership strategy, collaborating with regional Sales Managers;
- A vibrant personality that contributes to our dynamic and diverse team environment, working alongside both negotiators and technical partner managers;
- Experience in training, motivating, and nurturing relationships with potential partners;
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
