About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Richmond, BC. As an intermediate Project Engineer or Technologist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality electrical and control engineering projects that improve plant productivity, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit industrial facilities and develop preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades.
  • Complete electrical control and instrumentation system design, including P&ID drawings, control system architecture, and instrumentation systems.
  • Design, program, and configure DCS and PLC/HMI applications.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation.
  • Perform protection and control systems design and settings.
  • Perform system checkout, testing, and commissioning.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a bachelor's or diploma program in electrical engineering (or similar).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering.
  • Experience in pulp & paper an asset.
  • Resourceful, self-managed, and goal-driven, with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (English).
  • Registered as an EIT/ or AScT in British Columbia an asset.
  • Practical knowledge of North American standards.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%).
