Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the interpretation of project plans and specifications, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Safety Leadership: Demonstrate exceptional safety leadership skills, ensuring that all team members understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
  • Project Execution: Assist in the execution of projects, including managing remote sites, developing cost estimates, and ensuring maintenance of quality performance standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of site operations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Heavy Civil Earthworks project experience is required
  • Completed post-secondary degree in Civil, Mining, or Construction Engineering
  • Experience with earthworks and heavy machinery is an asset
  • Above-average computer skills, including MS Office, Primavera, and SharePoint
  • Able to work at remote worksites on a rotational basis
  • Previous experience working on site in Northern Canada is considered an asset
