We are seeking a highly skilled Supply, Storage and Distribution Supervisor to join our team at the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory control systems, supervising staff, and ensuring the efficient distribution of supplies and materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels.
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on inventory management, supply chain logistics, and distribution procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and state agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of supplies and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on inventory levels, supply chain activities, and distribution metrics.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in creating reports and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Six months of experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, or databases.
  • Knowledge of staff supervision and leadership principles.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate equipment as needed. A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire.
