Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II to join our team at Swan Hills Health Centre. As a key member of our laboratory and diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of our staff and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and organize the operation of the laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.
  • Supervise and direct department staff in their daily activities.
  • Perform site-specific laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, and cardiology procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and practices defined by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and Health Professions Act.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
Working Conditions:

This is a regular part-time position with a 0.80 FTE. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including days and on-call shifts. The position requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
