As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II at Swan Hills Health Centre, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments. Your responsibilities will include coordinating, organizing, and operating the site laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments, as well as performing site-specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, and related duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and supervise department staff and services in their area.
- Coordinate, organize, and operate the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
- Perform site-specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, and related duties.
- Ensure compliance with established standards and practice defined by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and Health Professions Act.
- Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
