Opportunity Overview
The Mental Health & Addictions department is seeking Clinical Therapists (CT) for various service areas, including:
- Community Outpatient Mental Health & Addictions - Adult: The Clinical Therapist is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and crisis management for clients.
- Child & Adolescent Services: The Clinical Therapist conducts evidence-based psycho-social assessments and treatments for children and youth facing mental health and substance use challenges.
- SchoolsPlus: The Clinical Therapist delivers services within designated SchoolsPlus schools, integrating support into the school community.
- Urgent Care: The Clinical Therapist provides advanced assessment, intervention, and care planning for clients in crisis across all age groups.
- Clinical Virtual Care Team: The Clinical Therapist offers assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation through virtual platforms for youth and adults dealing with mental health and substance use disorders.
Candidate Profile
We invite applications from individuals who possess the following qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a clinical health-related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy)
- Current registration with the relevant provincial regulatory body or eligibility for registration
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience is required. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a developmental role.
- Proficiency in additional languages is an asset, with French being preferred

Compensation Details
Clinical Therapist
$49.04 per hour
Clinical Therapist (Developmental)
$42.01 per hour
Successful candidates may also qualify for a signing bonus and relocation assistance, subject to a defined Return of Service contract.
