Job Summary

Forest View Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Outpatient Services. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of outpatient programs and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies, and promoting business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement outpatient programs and services, including medication management, telepsych, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of hospital policies and procedures related to outpatient services.
  • Evaluate and audit standards for outpatient services to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for the departmental budget, FTEs, and staffing levels.
  • Develop and maintain departmental quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee department safety responsibilities and maintain policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field, or RN licensed in the state of Michigan.
  • 3-5 years of psychiatric experience and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple priorities.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train staff members.
