Electromechanical Technician

Oshawa PUC Energy Services is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for supervising the building and testing of prototypes, assisting in design, development, and testing, and preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Assist in design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems.
- Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support project planning and execution.
- Write specifications for electrical and electronic systems.
- Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components.
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments.
- Conduct safety training programs for employees.
- Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
- Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
- Complete work orders and test reports.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electromechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
