Electromechanical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Oshawa PUC Energy Services. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for supervising the building and testing of prototypes, assisting in design and development, and preparing estimates, schedules, and reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Assist in design and development of electromechanical systems and equipment
- Prepare estimates, schedules, and reports for projects and tasks
- Write specifications for electromechanical systems and equipment
- Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Conduct safety training programs for employees
- Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems
- Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose and test electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electromechanical systems and equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
