Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Oshawa PUC Energy Services. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the building and testing of prototypes
  • Assist in design, development, and testing of electromechanical systems
  • Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
  • Write specifications for electromechanical systems
  • Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
  • Conduct safety training programs
  • Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electromechanical systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
