Key Responsibilities- Respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Document work orders and update status in our property management software
- Perform repairs, upgrades, and cleaning to ensure vacant apartments are ready for new tenants
- Conduct monthly inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues
- Perform tasks such as painting, drywall patching, and repairs to plumbing and electrical fixtures
- Coordinate the pickup and delivery of materials from suppliers
- Ensure compliance with all agency policies and procedures
- Relevant experience in trades, construction, or property maintenance
- 5+ years of experience in property management, maintenance, or facility operations
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment
- Effective communication skills, including proficiency in email and office software
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 25 kilograms) in all types of weather
- Team player with a commitment to upholding and modeling the organization's Mission Statement and operating standards
- Valid 'G' class driver's license and access to a vehicle (recommended)
