About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Document work orders and update status in our property management software
  • Perform repairs, upgrades, and cleaning to ensure vacant apartments are ready for new tenants
  • Conduct monthly inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues
  • Perform tasks such as painting, drywall patching, and repairs to plumbing and electrical fixtures
  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of materials from suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with all agency policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in trades, construction, or property maintenance
  • 5+ years of experience in property management, maintenance, or facility operations
  • Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Effective communication skills, including proficiency in email and office software
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 25 kilograms) in all types of weather
  • Team player with a commitment to upholding and modeling the organization's Mission Statement and operating standards
  • Valid 'G' class driver's license and access to a vehicle (recommended)
